Write for us

Global Sports Insider welcomes clear, original pitches that help a general reader understand a sport, its structures or the choices within it. Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial option.

What we welcome

Pitch evergreen explainers about formats, rules, tactics, equipment or traditions. Strong proposals identify a specific question, show why a reader might care, and explain the central idea the piece will make clear. Comparisons, concise histories and useful viewing perspectives can all work when they have a distinct focus.

What to include

Tell us the proposed subject, the reader-facing angle and the main points you would cover. Briefly explain what makes the piece different from a general overview. If the subject depends on specialist knowledge or a particular source, say what material supports the approach. Do not send confidential information or claim credentials you do not hold.

Editorial fit

We favour measured explanation over hype, and useful context over a list of facts. Pitches should be original, accurately framed and understandable without relying on unsupported claims. Sending a proposal does not guarantee publication; we will consider its fit with the publication and available editorial needs.
